If you live near airports, industrial/commercial sites and commercial farmland, there is a good chance ground water has PFAS contamination. Check out the map in the attached article. Here’s what to do:

  1. Get your Drinking Water tested, whether it’s from well or municipal water supply.
  2. Get a water filtration system or water filter that’s proven to remove PFAS.
  3. Remember that clean, filtered water should also be used for cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, brushing your teeth, etc.

In March, York acquired Precision Analytical Services, NJ’s largest drinking water laboratory. Contact our team there for fast and accurate sampling and testing of drinking water supplies — for the home, businesses, schools/daycare centers, churches and camps.

Here’s a link to a great piece on drinkingwater contamination from pfas from a Philadelphia broadcast station, with a link to our website to order testing.
