York Analytical Laboratories has provided over 30 years of dedicated testing services to environmental professionals and commercial / industrial clients throughout Connecticut, New York and New Jersey.
We expanded our drinking water testing services in 2022 to better serve the needs of people throughout the tri-state region who have experienced a dramatic increase in drinking water safety and quality issues.
It seems like everyday we’re seeing more alarming news about drinking water contamination from lead and metals, bacteria, pesticides and now PFAS. It’s caused by flooding, old rusted water systems, and pollution run-off into our groundwater and reservoirs from manufacturing sites, large farms and airports (where firefighting foam with PFAS has been used).
Our state-certified laboratories in three states have been testing drinking water for more than 20 years, and we provide expert environmental analyses of groundwater, wastewater, soil and air samples.
York Analytical serves consumers’ drinking water testing needs with the same outstanding level of expertise and commitment to client services on which we’ve built our reputation. We invest constantly in new equipment and bring in caring, talented people to offer the best possible testing services for customers.
In 2024, York Analytical joined ALS Limited, a global testing solutions leader, to expand our testing capacity and services throughout the Northeast U.S.

Our Connecticut drinking water laboratory has been providing the best drinking water testing services for nearly 30 years serving Connecticut and New York customers in Hudson Valley and New York City. Our Newtown team works closely with our laboratory in Queens, NY, which was the first dedicated PFAS testing laboratory in the tri-state region.
We offer private water test kits for homeowners, and offer test kits for compliance with state water regulations for real estate transfers, regulated water systems, and lead and copper testing for schools/day care centers.

Our New Jersey laboratory is the largest certified laboratory in the state specializing in drinking water testing. We recently expanded it with state-of-the-art PFAS testing instrumentation to stay ahead of the need for precise analysis of drinking water samples containing the dangerous “forever chemical” PFAS, which poses significant health risk for all people.
We have private water test kits for homeowners, and offer a full slate of test kits for compliance with state water regulations like the Private Water Testing Act (PWTA) for real estate transfers, tests for lead in schools/child care centers, and testing services for pools and spas.
